Avaya recently announced that it has ported its Avaya Communication Manager software to Nokia`s smart phones, extending the range of cellular phones capable of supporting this product, which enables people to use a single device, the cellphone, as both a desktop and mobile telephone.

The Avaya Communication Manager and client software, according to an Avaya statement released at the time, “enables workers to be accessible via one business number and use a single voicemail system whether they are in the office or mobile.”
