Few would disagree that a network infrastructure aligned to business demands is key to delivering the best user experience and desired cost savings for businesses. But static wide-area networks can be expensive and prone to over-provisioning. How does today’s business make sure it has all the network capacity it needs for those busy times while not paying an arm and a leg for the quiet ones? Cost is a factor. Dedicated wide-area networks are expensive and almost always never capacious enough to deal with demand.
