Epson means business

A Japanese company is betting on its Micro Piezo technology to make business inkjet printers a viable laser alternative.

Most people know Epson for its Stylus colour printers. What most people probably don’t know is that one in five business presentations in the world are done using an Epson projector; or that over 50 percent of the world’s point of sale receipts are printed on Epson devices.

The Japanese company wants the world to know more about it. Towards the end of 2010, it signed a global sponsorship agreement with Manchester United. The deal with one of the world’s most famous football clubs will see Epson raise its profile in Europe and globally, where Man U is followed.
