Will the real story please stand up?

The ICT sector is by no means the only one where information released and reported is often not the whole story. Sometimes it looks like one of the worst, though. Maybe it’s time to get real?

The ICT business is highly technical. The so-called person in the street will only follow the jargon or detail involved in products and services with difficulty.

The average person offering these products and services to customers is likely to know more about marketing and communications than they do about the technology. Have they developed it? Been trained on it? Actually used it in a production environment? Got feedback from end users? Usually, the answer is no.
