I am an independent photographer, originally from the Eastern Cape. I was inspired by my grandfather, who first introduced me to the power of photography. My artistic journey began during my early school years and was strengthened through a women`s photography workshop that deepened my passion for visual storytelling. Through an honest and immersive lens, I document untold stories that celebrate identity, culture, and community, with a particular focus on the resilience and strength of black women. My work explores the intersection of tradition and modernity, combining photography with personal narratives to create meaningful connections. Having exhibited in Women in Photography (Makhanda, 2023–2024), I strive to preserve moments that honour lived experiences, challenge stereotypes, and spark conversations that extend beyond the frame.
