Endpoints are ubiquitous, and many private and public-sector organisations have estates that run into the tens of thousands. Local enterprises, meanwhile, are seeing thousands of cyber attacks every week, and endpoints may not always be adequately protected. Priscilla Sehoole, CIO, Department of Agriculture, says she’s concerned by the increasing incidence of cybercrime, and mentions the recent attacks on Capitec and Standard Bank.
