A year since unbundling from The IQ Business Group, Volition Consulting Services is already a thriving business with an impressive client base and track record.

With each project it undertakes, Volition Consulting Services, a supply chain integration specialist, aims to work itself out of a job, says MD Cobus Rossouw. On the face of it, this is a curious approach to business, but it appears to have been a successful one.

Volition was unbundled out of The IQ Business Group last year, with the involvement of Treacle Venture Partners, which, along with Volition management, is a shareholder in the newly independent company. Volition`s forerunner, IQ Commerce, had been a division within The IQ Business Group for about five years.
