The BMW with a heart of gold
The iX3 is a software-defined vehicle with 20 times more computing power than previous models.
03 November 2025
Ahead of the IAA Mobility show in Munich in September, BMW unveiled its next-generation all-electric SUV, the Neue Klasse iX3. It was worth the wait: its modern design has clean lines and a more compact, illuminated, kidney grille, to that of the iX. It combines a futuristic, yet pared-down look, in line with what BMW has teased through retro concepts over the last few years.
The motoring media were not allowed to drive the iX3 at the launch, but may get a chance next year after production begins in October 2025.
