Hardly a day goes by without getting that email, "Your connection just completed a challenge in Zip Zap!", or whatever game LinkedIn is currently promoting. Thanks, but I prefer You- Tube for my distractions. However, tucked under the videos is a row of games as well! Never mind, I'm too sophisticated for that. I'd rather open up The New Yorker or NYT. Even more games.

Ever since Wordle blew up and removed the stigma from playing games at work, they are crawling out of the woodwork. Even local sites like News24 offer little games to help take your mind off that lengthy project email chain you ought to be reading. Somewhere, that sentence just gave a manager a panic attack, and they are about to go and check if their employees are actually working. Don't fret too much, though, because the games could be good for us.
