This was the unmistakable theme of the Wired4Women Balance to Bloom leadership event, where conversations were grounded in data, personal testimony, and the hard-won organisational experience of the industry’s women leaders. Sponsored by BCX, the event celebrated International Women’s Day in the new Pavilion room at The Saxon Hotel, Villas & Spa, in Johannesburg, on Friday 13 March.

Nomonde Ndlovu-White, Absa’s Group Compliance CIO and Chair of the Wired- 4Women board, welcomed the “exceptional women shaping the industry”, acknowledging the decades of persistence their journey to equity has demanded “to flourish in systems not designed with us in mind”.
