The word “robot” derives from the Czech word “robota”, meaning servitude, and there is little doubt that advanced robots will soon serve humans in many ways. One group of humanoid robots has already amassing over a thousand hours of shifts at a BMW factory. 2025 was a landmark year for these machines, producing some remarkable models and concepts.
