From natural disasters to acts of terrorism, and the increasing threat posed by cyber-criminals, any company that does not have a plan to keep itself in business in the face of any crisis is taking a somewhat irresponsible approach.
According to research firm Gartner, failure to take an enterprise operational risk management approach to BCM/DR will cause at least one major US financial services provider to face regulatory action in 2007.
