In the fog no one can hear you scream
You are the last ember of hope for a dying race and must survive everything that this hostile world throws at you.

You’ve crawled out of your capsule, half-naked and dizzy, into a dying world. A flame tells you to reclaim the kingdom. That’s the sum total of direction in Enshrouded, a survival action RPG that feels inspired by games like Minecraft, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Valheim. Most games would give you a tutorial pop-up, but Enshrouded leaves you to fall off cliffs, get beaten to death by mutant blue skeletons, or die unexpectedly in the fog.
Since its early access launch o n Steam for Windows in 2024, Enshrouded has become a cult classic. Developed by Keen Games, it has reached multimillion- player milestones and is scheduled for a full launch on PC and consoles in October 2026. Its addictive gameplay and intelligent mechanics have captured the imaginations of gamers, with more than 90mn hours clocked up in the first year. The premise is simple. Long, long ago, an elixir of extraordinary power was gifted to the rulers of Embervale. They tore up their land in search of elixir wells to quench their thirst. From these depths, the Shroud emerged, mutating everything and everyone that lay within its shifting clouds. You wake up after the fact, and yes, everything is ruined.
