Notion is positioned as an all-in-one workspace and database platform teams can adapt and customise into a lightweight customer relationship management (CRM) system. It offers users notes, wikis, project management and relational database tools, all of which can be adapted into CRM style pipelines using tables, relations, rollups and templates. As of 2024, the platform hit one million users, four years after it reached 1 000 users, and more than 10 years since the platform was launched. From 2013 to 2018, Notion’s growth was slow, but after four rebuilds and constant reiterations, the company crossed the $500mn annual revenue threshold in September 2025. We ask Keagan Blignaut, principal, City Kids Christian Preschool, and Sheldon Nossel, head of product delivery at BluShift Consulting, what they think of the product.
