What kind of of AI adoption is happening among local enterprises? Technology firm ADG and Brainstorm invited some professionals in enterprise IT to a roundtable to gauge the level of their firms’ AI involvement.

Magugu Mngxati, senior IT manager, Nedbank, says AI has seen limited uptake at the bank. “We were looking at the metrics of some of the [AI] tools we’re using, and it’s very low. We’re concerned over what we need to do to improve adoption.” Makabongwe Siziba, CIO, Fasset, mentions that keeping pace with AI is a challenge, because of the sector’s rapid innovation.
