Intelys Telecom has been focused on SD-WAN, Zero Trust network access and cloud security from the company’s inception. As such, it has ridden the wave of how these technologies and the associated market have evolved over time and tailored its offerings to integrate into to any network or datacentre construct.

The convergence of security and SD-WAN comes in the form of Secure Access Services Edge (SASE). The two technologies are complementary. SD-WAN enables organisations to build and manage networks across geographically diverse locations, while SASE provides seamless security for the user and administrator, explains Alistair Scott, MD, Intelys Telecom. “Because it’s software-based, the benefit of using a SASE model means that companies don’t need to invest in additional branch hardware.”
