Is the hybrid workplace an opportunity to approach skills challenges differently?

One of the greatest challenges for companies is navigating the rapid changes as people return to physical workplaces. Although collectively called hybrid work, the situation is highly nuanced as different groups push and pull between remote and on-premise employment.

“We know some departments are very resistant to change,” says Kevin Wilson, GM, Group IT Services, Stefanutti Stocks. “Most IT staff members have gone remote, and that’s staying as it is. The accounts department is in two minds: they don’t know if they’re going to stay at home or what they’re going to do. The payroll department wants to stay at home – they don’t need to see anybody. So, it’s a weird space around how we’re defining hybrid.”
