Despite all the advances in cyber security tools and multiple layers of defence, cyber threat protection is usually onlyable to block 99% of threats. This is because 1% or more of threats are zero-day or unknown.

With this in mind, local ICT distributor Pinnacle, is partnering with ITWeb and Comodo Cybersecurity, to bring a Webinar aimed at helping MSPs protect their customers against the cyber threats other software fails to detect.

The Webinar, titled ‘Conquer Zero Day and the unknown’, will showcase Comodo’s patented auto containment technology – the only active breach protection that renders malware, ransomware and other cyber attacks useless.

During the event, Pinnacle will introduce the opportunity to partner with Comodo Cybersecurity to South African MSPs, so they can offer their customers the threat containment solution that, to date, has never been breached.

Delegates will also learn how to conquer zero day and unknownthreat’s with what it calls the world’s only complete next-gen security as a platform.

They will also hear about Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP), a robust endpoint protection solution that protects enterprise network and endpoints against all known and unknown threats

“Using automatic containment and crowdsourced threat intelligence from over 100 million endpoints, Comodo AEP prevents unknowns and malware from entering the enterprise, while allowing users to access and work on contained files within a safe replicated environment,” Pinnacle explains.

However, unlike sandboxes, this solution does not use a full virtual machine and is not resource intensive. It is designed to deliver results within seconds, and without slowing productivity.

MSPs will also hear how to partner with Comodo SOCaaP to offer cyber security as a billable managed service, with 24/7 security operations centre (SOC) response and support across customer asset management, incident and response, security risk management, reporting and compliance, and SOC as a service.
